AIG Jimoh Announces New Policing Reforms to Strengthen Security in Lagos and Ogun
AIG Olohundare Jimoh has unveiled reforms to enhance operational efficiency and security across Lagos and Ogun states. He introduced the changes during a courtesy visit to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at Alausa, Ikeja. The reforms include a ban on transferring cases from state commands to the zone and the approval for seven new police divisional headquarters in Lagos. Jimoh thanked the Lagos State Government for its support in logistics, operations and welfare initiatives. He noted that past achievements under his leadership helped reduce crime and sustain peace in the zone. Governor Sanwo-Olu welcomed Jimoh’s appointment and praised the reforms. He said the additional police units would bring officers closer to communities and boost public confidence in policing.
