APC Primary: Barr. Victor Giwa Clinches Esan South-East Assembly Ticket

Barrister Victor Giwa has won the All Progressives Congress primary for the Esan South-East Constituency seat in the Edo State House of Assembly ahead of next year’s election. After results were announced, Giwa of Ward 9 thanked party members for their support and described the exercise as transparent and decisive. The APC kicked off its nationwide primaries last week. While some candidates conceded defeat, others celebrated this victory as the start of their 2027 campaign. Several party heavyweights also failed to secure nominations in various constituencies.
