Tinubu Clinches APC Presidential Primary in Abia with 161,005 Votes

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emerged victorious in the APC 2027 presidential primary in Abia State, securing 161,005 votes across all 17 local government areas, election officers announced. His nearest rival, Stanley Osifo, polled 1,007 votes. Tinubu’s strongest showings were in Bende (39,826 votes), Umuahia North (14,943), Isiala Ngwa North (11,298) and Ikwuano (8,902). The state recorded 162,109 registered APC members, 162,084 accredited voters and 162,012 total votes cast. Deputy Speaker Benjamin Okezie Kalu declared Tinubu the winner amid cheers from party supporters.
