Neymar has responded to criticism over his appearance at a poker tournament while he was still working his way back to full fitness at Santos. The Brazilian forward said the outing took place on a scheduled day off and did not affect his training. He added that he had already completed a morning gym session before the event. Neymar said he missed Santos' match in Venezuela because he had just resumed training, not because of the poker tournament.
