Mide Martins’ Colleagues Joke About Sharing Reported ₦500m Revenue From IYA
Nollywood actors Obatide Kelvin and Debbie Shokoya jokingly demanded a share of the reported revenue from Mide Martins’ film, IYA, while they were on a movie set together. Obatide claimed the film had earned more than ₦500 million on YouTube and asked for ₦3 million on behalf of Mide’s supporters and “Omoonile.” Debbie also repeated the revenue claim, although no independent confirmation was provided.
