A man was arrested in Hadejia, Jigawa State, for allegedly stealing worshippers’ shoes during prayer at the mosque on Maje Road. Witnesses say he has been targeting several mosques in the area over time. Muhammed Sani Yusuf reported that the arrest took place on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Authorities have yet to determine the full number of shoes the suspect may have taken.
