Celebrating America’s 250th Independence Anniversary

Today marks the 250th Independence Day of the United States. From thirteen struggling colonies to a global leader, the US has shaped world history. It has welcomed immigrants and become an example in governance and innovation. I became an American by induction in 2000 and have personally benefited from US support ever since. Their commitment to global progress has also influenced my efforts to promote positive change in Nigeria. I send my best wishes for continued prosperity and greatness on this milestone anniversary.
