Ovuopoke of Idembia: Honouring My Grandfather’s Royal Legacy
I’m proud to share my maternal heritage through my grandfather, Ovuopoke of Idembia in Omowago, Ebonyi State. He offered me home before I built mine and preserved our bloodline. The British referred to our sacred kings as “Ovo Ji” in 1926. Ovuopoke stands as living proof that the Igbo people had monarchs long ago. Our lineage stretches from Idembia to Israel and beyond. If your family is OVU from Ebonyi, we share the same roots. Reply with your town so we can reconnect our bloodline.
