Police Recruitment Exam Set for April 28–30; PSC Warns Against Scams

Police Recruitment Exam Set for April 28–30; PSC Warns Against Scams

The Police Service Commission and Nigeria Police Force will hold the written examination for Police Constable recruitment from 28–30 April 2026 at centres across all 36 states and the FCT. In Anambra, the test venue is the Federal Government Technical College, Awka. Only candidates who passed the physical and credentials screening may print their exam invitation cards from 24 April, which show the date, time and venue of each test. On exam day, bring a pen, your NIN slip with photo, the printed invitation card, and wear white shorts, a white T-shirt and white canvas shoes. The PSC stresses the recruitment is entirely free and warns that anyone caught in racketeering or scams will face legal action. The Anambra State Police Command urges eligible candidates to arrive early and conduct themselves in an orderly manner.

Travel planning is fine, but shouldn't we prioritise past questions and revision before worrying about transport?

Asking for official centres is fine, but I'm worried some hopefuls might still get duped by fake PSC notifications this time around.

PSC warnings about scams are helpful, yet many hopefuls still rush applications without verifying venue details thoroughly.

Make sure say you download the official PSC exam schedule, confirm your test centre days early, and plan transport well ahead.
