Rangers to Extend Fidelis Ilechukwu’s Contract for 2026/27 Season
Rangers International’s General Manager Barrister Amobi Ezeaku has confirmed that Head Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu will remain in charge for the 2026/27 NPFL and CAF Champions League campaigns. Ilechukwu led the Flying Antelopes to their second league title in three seasons this year. Ezeaku praised him as a “rare breed” of coach and insisted there would be no reason to part ways after such achievements. The GM also said his own contract situation will be clarified within the next three weeks. Rangers and Rivers United will represent Nigeria in next season’s continental competition.
