Amapakabo Hails Aba Stadium Move as ‘Blessing’ After Warriors’ Win

Amapakabo Hails Aba Stadium Move as ‘Blessing’ After Warriors’ Win

Imama Amapakabo says relocating to Enyimba International Stadium in Aba has been a blessing for Abia Warriors. On 19 April, goals from Paul Samson and Valentine Ugwu secured a 2-0 win over Ikorodu City. That victory moved Warriors into fourth place with 55 points in the NPFL table. Amapakabo praised the pitch quality and new fan support. He also lauded Ikorodu City’s technical game and explained his tactical adjustments. He dedicated the win to striker Emeka Obioma, whose wife gave birth to a daughter on matchday. The coach also reflected on lessons from his mentors and said he aims to entertain fans.

Definitely! Playing at Enyimba's ground really seems to have given the Warriors fresh energy and confidence.

Totally! A fresh venue must've boosted their spirits; that 'blessing' seems spot on for their recent form.

Moving to Aba might boost morale, yet unfamiliar pitch conditions and travel could affect Warriors' consistency at home.

Blessing or not, a single 2-0 win over Ikorodu City doesn't guarantee long-term success against tougher NPFL rivals.
