IPOB Alleges Threat to Nnamdi Kanu’s Life, Plans Legal Action Over TV Remarks

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has alleged that its detained leader, Nnamdi Kanu, faces a threat to his life following comments made by entrepreneur Chigozie Nnabugwu on a television programme. IPOB said Nnabugwu allegedly called on the Federal Government to execute Kanu, claiming it would restore peace in the South-East. The group described the remarks as dangerous and part of a wider campaign against Kanu and the Biafra movement. The group said it plans to take legal action against the television station and several individuals, including Reno Omokri, over alleged defamatory statements against Kanu.
