Tambuwal and Lamido Withdraw in ADC Primaries, Making Way for Youth in Sokoto

Former Sokoto governor and senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has stepped aside in the ADC senatorial primary. He now supports Faruk Malami Yabo, a former state commissioner, for the Sokoto South ticket. Senator Ibrahim Lamido also withdrew after a reconciliation deal among party stakeholders. ADC has yet to name its candidate for Sokoto East.
