After Deliverance, Do Not Return to Sin
When God delivers, heals or saves us, we must be careful not to return to the sins and habits He has helped us overcome. Jesus told the man He healed, “You are made whole; sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee” (John 5:14). Scripture also warns that returning to former wrongdoing after knowing Christ can leave a person worse off than before (2 Peter 2:20–22; Luke 11:24–26). God’s message remains clear: receive His mercy, turn away from sin, and live faithfully. “Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more” (John 8:11).
