Alive in Christ: A Reflection on Ephesians 2:1-10

In Ephesians 2:1-10, Paul explains our spiritual condition before Christ. We were dead in transgressions and followed worldly paths under the ruler of the air. We lived for fleshly cravings and deserved God’s wrath. Yet God, rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ while we were dead in sin. Salvation is by grace through faith alone, not by works, so no one can boast. We are raised and seated with Jesus in the heavenly realms. This passage reminds us that we are God’s masterpiece, created in Christ to do good works prepared long ago. May this truth encourage us to live out the grace we have received.
