A Single Mother’s Cry for Hope: Seeking an Opportunity
I am Morenikeji, a young woman who has faced hardship since childhood. Born into a polygamous family, my mother was the second wife. I worked hard in secondary school and dreamed of breaking the cycle of poverty through education. When exam fees became due, my family could not afford them. Watching my dreams slip away was painful. I dropped out and struggled to survive. Soon I became pregnant and took on even greater responsibilities. Now I am a mother doing my best to care for my daughter. Some days I worry about food and rent. I want her to have the education and opportunities I was denied. I humbly appeal for assistance. I need honest work, training, or financial support. I have learned tailoring and will soon finish. Any help could transform our lives. Thank you for reading.
