Tradition Meets Style: Farooq Oreagba, Dapo Abiodun & Seyi Tinubu Impress at Ojude Oba 2026
Thousands of visitors converged on Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State for the 2026 Ojude Oba Festival, one of Nigeria’s most spectacular cultural celebrations. Vibrant parades, colorful aso-oke fabrics and equestrian displays brought the town to life as talking drums and traditional music filled the air. Socialite Farooq “Mr Steeze” Oreagba once again stole the show with a grand horseback entrance. Dressed in white agbada, a purple cap and his trademark cigarette, he demonstrated how heritage and modern flair combine to create a social media sensation. High-profile guests included Governor Dapo Abiodun, Minister Hannatu Musawa and President Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu, whose arrival drew cheers from young festivalgoers. Age-grade groups and the famous Balogun riders honored the late Awujale of Ijebuland, celebrating his legacy and the enduring unity of Ijebu culture.
