Youth Group Urges Intelligence Agencies to Verify Ogun Rep Aspirant’s Credentials
A non-governmental organisation in Ogun State has warned political aspirants against making false academic and official claims ahead of the 2027 elections. Ogun Youth Professionals highlighted the case of an aspirant who uses the title “Dr.” and claims to be a Senior Special Assistant to the President on Youth Development, despite lacking any doctoral degree or official appointment. The group is calling on the State Security Service and the Office of the National Security Adviser to investigate these claims and protect the public from being misled. They stressed that only qualified candidates should represent Ogun State in the House of Representatives.
