Slaves to Righteousness: Freedom Through Grace (Romans 6:15-23)

Paul asks: Should we continue sinning since we live under grace, not law? Certainly not. When we obey someone, we become their slaves—either to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness. Thanks be to God! You once served sin, but now from the heart you follow the teaching that set you free. You’re no longer bound to sin but have become “slaves to righteousness,” leading to holiness and, ultimately, eternal life. Remember, sin’s wage is death, but God’s gift is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
