Babachir Lawal Quits ADC, Predicts Tinubu Landslide and Rules Out Peter Obi

Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation Babachir Lawal has resigned from the African Democratic Congress. Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, he cited disillusionment with how politics is practised in Nigeria and said he plans to focus on agriculture and church work instead. Lawal predicted that President Bola Tinubu will win the 2027 election by a landslide, arguing that Tinubu’s strength in result manipulation is unmatched. He also stated he will not support Peter Obi of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, insisting he no longer wants to be part of active politics.
