Meta Launches Plus Subscription Plans on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp
Meta Platforms has introduced new paid “Plus” plans on its core apps. The move aims to diversify revenue beyond advertising. Users can now subscribe to Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus or WhatsApp Plus for $2.99 to $3.99 per month. Features include profile customisation, super reactions, advanced story insights, custom themes and premium stickers. The company also announced “Meta One,” a broader subscription brand for creators, businesses and AI enthusiasts. Two AI-focused plans priced at $7.99 and $19.99 will be tested next month in select countries.
