Onuachu Nominated for Turkish Süper Lig Goal of the Season

Paul Onuachu has been shortlisted for the Turkish Süper Lig Goal of the Season award after his spectacular scissor-kick in Trabzonspor’s 4-2 win over Fatih Karagümrük last September. He also won Goal of the Month twice, for an August header against Samsunspor and for the acrobatic finish that earned him this latest nomination. The 32-year-old striker shared the 2025/26 Golden Boot with 22 league goals and added four more in cup competitions, finishing the season with 26 goals and two assists in 43 appearances. Onuachu capped the campaign by scoring both goals in the Turkish Cup final, helping Trabzonspor lift the trophy for a record tenth time.
