Igboho Awaits FG Approval to Deploy Iru Ekun Force Against Kidnappers, Bandits in South-West
Chief Sunday Adeyemo, known as Sunday Igboho, says he has submitted all documents for his new private security outfit, Iru Ekun Security Network. He is now awaiting formal approval from the Federal Government to begin operations against kidnappers, bandits and other criminals in forests across the South-West. He pledged full compliance with the recent executive order from the Oyo State Government regulating private security organisations. He also expressed readiness to work closely with the police, DSS, Nigerian Army, NSCDC and other agencies to strengthen security in vulnerable rural communities. Igboho commended the Tinubu administration’s commitment to tackling insecurity in the region. He stressed that peace and stability are vital for economic growth, food production and livelihoods in Nigeria’s rural areas.
