Amusan, Brume and Ashe Lead 29-Athlete AFN Camp for 2026 Commonwealth Games
Nigeria’s top track stars Tobi Amusan, Ese Brume and Favour Ashe are among 29 athletes invited by the Athletics Federation of Nigeria to join a training camp ahead of the 2026 Commonwealth Games. The full list, shared on the Making of Champions social media handle, also includes Chukwuebuka Enekwechi, Kanyisola Ajayi, Ezekiel Nathaniel, Patience Okon-George, Esther Joseph and Ella Onojuvwevwo. The 2026 Commonwealth Games will be held in Glasgow, Scotland from 23 July to 2 August. This will be Scotland’s fourth time hosting the Games after Edinburgh in 1970 and 1986, and Glasgow in 2014.
