Ohanaeze Youth Council Slams Impostor for Declaring Igbo Leaders 'Persona Non Grata'

The youth wing of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has rejected claims by a self-styled president, Igboayaka, who branded former South-East governors persona non grata. They described his statement as baseless and accused him of impersonation. National President Mazi Okwu Nnabuike stressed that everyone has the right to support any candidate ahead of the 2027 election. He condemned the insults against leaders like David Umahi, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Sullivan Chime and Chris Ngige as political rascalism. Okwu warned those behind the impostor’s attacks to desist or face exposure. He praised the former governors’ service and urged the public to ignore what he called “the antics of an impostor.”
