Primate Ayodele Declares NDC a Political Trap with No Future

Primate Ayodele Declares NDC a Political Trap with No Future

The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has warned that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is a short-lived political project destined to disappoint. In a statement from his media aide, he argued the party lacks the structure and viability to emerge as a major force, calling it a political trap for ambitious politicians. Ayodele said the NDC cannot survive beyond the current electoral cycle and urged those aligned with it to reconsider their expectations. He reiterated that only a united opposition front could realistically challenge the ruling party in future elections. Recalling his earlier reservations when the NDC was launched by former Bayelsa Governor Seriake Dickson, Ayodele predicted the party would make no tangible gains in 2027. He remains convinced fragmented opposition platforms will struggle to achieve meaningful political change.

Do you think Ayodele's claim about the NDC's viability reflects broader political concerns or personal bias?

Absolutely, his comments could stem from genuine political unease or just a spirited personal critique.

Seems like his critique hinges on structure and viability; na common claim when critics overlook parties' adaptability.

I agree that focusing only on structure can overlook how parties innovate to survive political shifts.

I doubt a church leader's forecast can grasp the complexities of national politics so casually.

It might help to assess the NDC's internal reforms and grassroots support before accepting predictions of its failure.
