Falconets to Learn 2026 U-20 World Cup Group Opponents on May 15

Nigeria’s U-20 women’s team will discover its group-stage rivals on Friday, May 15 in Łódź, Poland, according to Completesports.com. The Falconets booked their place in the tournament with a 3-2 aggregate win over Malawi’s Young Scorchers. They remain the only African side to have featured in every edition. The draw ceremony will take place in one of the host cities and feature women’s football legends like Poland coach Nina Patalon and French icon Laura Georges. The biennial competition runs from September 5 to 27 across Bielsko-Biała, Katowice, Łódź and Sosnowiec, with 24 nations in the field.
