‘They Raided My Home at Midnight’ — Father of Alleged Fake DG Speaks Out
Pa Adetunji Adeniyi says security agents stormed his Ogbomoso home around 12:30am. They jumped the fence, bent the barbed wire and broke the padlock before demanding his family open the door. He recalls the operatives identified themselves as government agents searching for his son, Prince Mathew Adebayo Adeniyi. They searched wardrobes, seized his phone and his wife’s phone, then left at about 1am. They returned the devices around 2:30am. Two days later, police returned and took him to the Sunsun Divisional Police Headquarters for questioning about his son’s whereabouts. Pa Adeniyi says he was not mistreated but insists he does not know where his son lives. His son faces allegations over a purported Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council that was disowned by the Presidency, prompting an anti-corruption probe.
