Seeking Advice on Farming Partnership in Kaduna or Southwest Nigeria

I’m exploring options to invest my savings in agriculture back home. I’m considering partnering with someone in Zaria, Kaduna, where security is stable. I would provide the capital, and my partner would manage the farm in exchange for a share of the profits. Another idea is to set up a farm near a major town in the Southwest. Land prices are higher there, and I’m concerned about finding a trustworthy manager. I could stay involved initially to train them, but most experienced farmers I know are in the North. I’m torn between convenience and expertise. My ultimate goal is to grow my engineering interests on a farm that runs smoothly, while I pursue personal growth abroad. What do you think is the best approach and location for this type of partnership?
