‘Trade Nigeria’ Campaign to Boost Manufacturing by 6% and Create 500,000 Jobs

‘Trade Nigeria’ Campaign to Boost Manufacturing by 6% and Create 500,000 Jobs — 1 of 4
1 / 4

The Trade Nigeria initiative is part of the wider Nigeria First Policy. It aims to shift demand to locally made goods that meet global standards. Early estimates suggest manufacturing could grow by up to 6% and over 500,000 jobs may be created in three years. The campaign could also add an estimated ₦3 trillion to GDP in the short term. To address export hurdles, the National Single Window project has been launched. This digital reform will unify and speed up import, export, and transit processes. It is designed to cut bureaucratic delays and make cross-border trade smoother for Nigerian businesses.
