Alleged ₦5,000 PVC Buy-Back in Ogun East Sparks Call for Vigilance

Security agencies are being urged to probe reports that residents in Odogbolu, Ijebu-Ode, Sagamu, and Ikenne have been asked to surrender their PVCs for ₦5,000. The allegations involve Dr. J. Lasisi of the Ogun PDP, Dr. Sunday Sholarin, and media consultant Afolabi Orekoya. INEC and law enforcement must closely monitor these activities to safeguard the electoral process. PVCs are personal electoral documents and must not be handed over to any individual or group. Any attempt to collect, retain, or misuse voter cards should be reported immediately to the relevant authorities.
