The INEC Chairman delivered his 2026 May Day message, “The Dignity of Service,” urging the commission’s 14,000 staff to maintain professionalism and transparency in all electoral processes. He praised the team’s performance in the recent FCT Area Council elections and stressed the need for ongoing preparation for the upcoming off-cycle governorship polls in Ekiti and Osun, as well as the roadmap to the 2027 general election.
