Why Nigeria Struggles to Defeat Islamic Terrorists

Unlike IPOB and Niger Delta militants, Islamic terrorists are truly committed. They will carry out suicide attacks for their beliefs. You may call them demonic, but never hypocrites. At our core, Nigeria undervalues faith and dedication. Many politicians abandon principles for personal gain, and past military regimes were plagued by embezzlement, coups and betrayals. The US spent 20 years fighting the Taliban without victory, and Israel has battled extremist groups since its founding. If these countries can’t win their wars, why do we expect outsiders to solve ours? We must match their seriousness with our own. Instead of blaming the country, we should condemn the perpetrators and renew our faith. Only true dedication will unite leaders and citizens against terror.
