Codar Tech Africa Secures $1.5M to Bridge Africa’s Digital Skills Divide
Africa’s talent gap often stems from limited access, not ability. Codar Tech Africa launched in Lagos in 2022 with a mission to make premium digital training accessible continent-wide. Backed by $1.5 million in new equity and debt financing, Codar will expand learning hubs, upgrade its platform, and increase scholarships for underserved learners. Its project-based model goes beyond coding bootcamps to equip graduates with job-ready skills in software development, cybersecurity, data analytics, cloud computing and AI. By partnering with industry players and leveraging support from a venture studio, Codar aims to scale multilingual programs and internationally recognised certifications. This funding positions the company to accelerate talent development and connect thousands more Africans with high-demand tech careers.
