Keji Giwa Blames Doctors’ Sunday Church Service for Father’s Death

Nigerian businessman Keji Giwa has shared a painful story about losing his father to food poisoning. In a recent interview on a popular talk show, Giwa said his father fell ill on a Sunday and was rushed to hospital, only to find no qualified doctor available at the time. He believes his father’s death could have been prevented if medical staff had been on duty. The experience has reshaped his views on religion and hospital staffing. “Food poisoning shouldn’t be fatal, especially with proper care. He died because all the qualified doctors went to church,” Giwa said.
