Onuachu, Nwaiwu Eye First Turkish Cup as Nwakaeme Prepares Farewell

Paul Onuachu and Chibuike Nwaiwu will chase their first trophy with Trabzonspor when they face Konyaspor in Friday’s Turkish Cup final. Onuachu has scored twice in the competition since his move from Southampton, while Nwaiwu has become a key figure since joining from Wolfsberger AC in January. The Black Sea Storm are aiming for a 10th Cup success. Veteran forward Anthony Nwakaeme will make his final appearance for the club as his contract expires this summer. The 37-year-old returns for a second stint after earlier winning the league title, Turkish Cup and Super Cup between 2018 and 2022. The final marks the third meeting between these sides this season. Trabzonspor won 3-1 in their first clash, while Konyaspor claimed a 2-1 victory last month.
