By Izunna Okafor, Awka Chief Mrs Obby Okwubanego, also known as Ife Nwafija, attended the 70th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women at the UN Headquarters in New York from March 9–19, 2026. She calls the experience enriching and a strong boost to her advocacy for gender equality and inclusive development.
