Sixty-two institutions and 186 top contestants battled across Applied Mathematics, Data Analysis, General Knowledge, and Verbal Reasoning. According to the Dean of Student Affairs, this is the first time a single institution has claimed both titles in one edition. Held with support from a leading telecom sponsor, the competition aims to shift Nigeria’s youth from technology consumers to creators. Prize awards included ₦3 million for the University Duel champions, ₦1 million for Smart Challenge winners, plus scholarships for emerging tech talent.
