Guard Your Tongue: Not Every Vision Should Be Shared
The Bible compares the tongue to a ship’s rudder. Though small, it can shape the direction of an entire life. Our words can bring life or death, and some battles begin with things we said carelessly years earlier. Joseph’s story is a reminder of the need for wisdom. He shared a dream with his brothers, and their jealousy grew into hatred. Yet God remained with him and eventually turned his painful experience into purpose. When God gives you a vision, be careful about who you share it with. Not everyone around you will understand, support or protect what God has placed in your heart. Work quietly, seek wisdom and allow God to reveal you at the right time. Life already has enough challenges. Do not create avoidable battles with careless words. May your dreams not be silenced by your own tongue, in Jesus’ name.
