Adamawa Police Arrest 20-Year-Old for Allegedly Assaulting His Mother

The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a 20-year-old man, John Mamud, for allegedly assaulting his mother in Konan Kuka, Mayo Belwa Local Government Area. Police spokesperson SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje said the arrest followed a complaint about the alleged assault at the family residence. The Commissioner of Police has ordered a thorough investigation. The suspect is expected to be charged to court when the investigation is concluded. The command condemned domestic violence and urged residents to report abuse to the nearest police station.
