The Bible shows that only Yahuwah knows His own by name, but we can recognise His remnant through character and orientation. True remnant are humble truth-seekers. They welcome new light, test it, and apply it daily. They follow Messiah Yeshua as the Good Shepherd guiding them into fresh understanding and correction. 2 Esdras 8:1-3 warns that many are created but few will be saved. Those who honour the Covenant Law and embrace correction form this elect remnant. Pride blinds many, but the saved remain teachable, like David rather than Saul. Every African Christian is urged to study 2 Esdras 8:1-3 and live as part of the remnant by seeking truth, practising humility, and obeying Yahuwah.
