Dying to the Law, Living in the Spirit – Romans 7:1-6
This passage uses the example of a married woman to show that the law holds authority only as long as one lives under it. When her husband dies, she is free and may belong to another without being called an adulteress. In the same way, Christ’s death frees us from the old written code so we can live a new life in the Spirit. No longer driven by fleshly passions, we bear fruit for God through the life raised in Christ.
