Why Nigerian Leaders Unite for Family Events but Ignore Our Struggles

A few days ago, the NSA, Nuhu Ribadu, and the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, visited Ogbomoso without even informing the state governor. Meanwhile, ordinary Nigerians have become a government of one. We power our homes with generators. We fetch or purify our own water. We rely on traditional remedies or private clinics when hospitals fail. We hire private security because public safety is underfunded. Yet when politicians celebrate weddings or birthdays, party rivalries suddenly vanish. They come together for personal milestones but leave the masses to suffer. I will keep saying it: our leaders do not care about ordinary Nigerians. We must hold them accountable, regardless of party affiliation.
