Walking in Dominion: Understanding Our Spiritual Adversary

The Bible reveals Satan’s true identity and gives believers the knowledge to overcome him. As a fallen angel, he still prowls around seeking to deceive and destroy. When you accept Scripture as God’s testimony, you recognize Satan as a real spiritual foe. Denying his existence is denying God’s own Word. But armed with divine truth, you gain discernment, confidence, and authority. Jesus promised power over the enemy: “I give you authority to trample serpents and scorpions.” This defeated foe is under your feet. In Christ, you can cast out darkness and live in victory. Prayer: Father, thank you for the light of your Word. Enlighten my mind so I walk in wisdom, discernment, and dominion over every attack of the enemy, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
