Bayelsa’s Tamunosoye Karibi-George Clinches Miss World Nigeria 2026 Crown
Tamunosoye Karibi-George emerged victorious at the Miss World Nigeria 2026 finale held at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos. Twenty finalists competed under the theme “Pride, Power, and Purpose,” showcasing not just beauty but leadership and advocacy. Representing Bayelsa State and hailing from Port Harcourt, the 26-year-old impressed judges with her poise and preparation. She succeeds last year’s titleholder, who reached the Top 20 and was among the Top 5 African contestants at Miss World. A former Miss Africa International 2024, Tamunosoye is set to represent Nigeria at the 75th Miss World Festival in Vietnam this August. Her win highlights Nigeria’s strong legacy in global pageantry, dating back to Agbani Darego’s historic triumph in 2001.
