Sabrina Idukpaye has been appointed Ambassador for Arts, Culture and Creative Economy in Edo State. The BBNaija Season 10 alum received her official appointment letter from the state Ministry of Arts and Culture. She expressed gratitude for the trust placed in her and vowed to promote Edo’s heritage and creative economy. She thanked Commissioner Christopher E. Okaeben and outlined plans to forge partnerships that empower local artists. For her official presentation, Sabrina chose a sculptural chocolate brown co-ord set with a draped top and wide-leg trousers. She paired it with coral bead bracelets, a silver cuff and pointed-toe heels, wearing her hair in a sleek bob. Photo credit: Sabrina Idukpaye via social media.

Interesting that a reality TV alum is now arts ambassador, though I wonder if her background matches the cultural demands of this role.

Her commitment sounds nice, yet celebrity titles often convert into little more than social media highlights instead of tangible arts development.

Now local organizers should leverage her appointment by inviting Sabrina to grassroots workshops and mentoring emerging artists across Edo State.
