On April 20, 2026, the Ifeoluwaseyi Ita Oshin Thrift and Credit Society held its 21st AGM at the Cooperative House in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The society achieved a net surplus of ₦31,985,906.91, up from last year’s ₦19,417,695.88. Total share capital stood at ₦123,338,764 and members’ savings reached ₦82,035,188 despite economic challenges. Representatives from the Ogun State Ministry of Community Development and Cooperatives and the Ogun State Cooperative Federation praised the society’s unity and performance. They encouraged members to increase their shares and savings, promote youth involvement, and uphold discipline and due process to sustain growth. President Deaconess Olufunmilayo Bolanle thanked members and stakeholders for their support. She reported that ₦265,542,000 in loans were disbursed to 106 members, underscoring the cooperative’s commitment to member empowerment. The AGM also featured the adoption of previous minutes, election of new officers, and presentation of appreciation gifts.
