Galatasaray Close to Loan-to-Buy Deal for Super Eagles-Eligible Midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu
Turkish champions Galatasaray are finalising a loan deal to sign 22-year-old Lesley Ugochukwu from Burnley. The agreement includes a €3m loan fee and a mandatory purchase option worth €25m if certain targets are met. Ugochukwu has agreed personal terms and will travel to Istanbul for a medical soon. Cim-Bom secured their fourth straight Süper Lig title last season and are reinforcing their midfield ahead of the 2026/27 Champions League campaign. Born in France, Ugochukwu has featured in French youth teams but qualifies for Nigeria. He could soon join Victor Osimhen in yellow and red, both at club and international level.
