Umahi Defends Tinubu: Insecurity Predates His Administration

Minister of Works David Umahi has defended President Bola Tinubu over rising insecurity. He said security challenges did not begin under the current administration and criticised politicians who use violence as a political weapon. Speaking at a town hall meeting in Gombe State after unveiling the proposed Super Highway project, Umahi warned that anyone who fuels insecurity for power will face divine resistance. He urged all Nigerians to take collective responsibility for national security. He also prayed for the safe return of those recently abducted across the country and expressed confidence that the nation will overcome its security challenges.
