Ed Sheeran to Pause Music After LOOP Tour to Focus on Family

British singer Ed Sheeran surprised fans at the opening night of his LOOP tour in Glendale by announcing plans to take a break from music after the current shows end. He told the audience this might be his last performance for a while as he wants to concentrate on fatherhood. Sheeran, who shares daughters Lyra and Jupiter with his wife Cherry Seaborn, thanked fans for their support and promised: “If I don’t see you for a while, I love you. Thank you for coming.” This follows previous hiatuses in 2015 and between 2019 and 2021. The Grammy-winning star says this pause will give him time to enjoy family life before returning to the stage.
